VNC doesn't work
I set VNC to run at each boot. Can't log in via VNC, connection refused.
Same thing here. First boot works fine with VNC (even afterwards), but commands at 'each boot' are not run.
Something really weird going on with VNC blocks. README.md at this page https://github.com/davidferguson/pibakery shows Install VNC
and Run VNC
as separate blocks but the current version only allows to run and does not include the port number. It seems like the VNC blocks have been screwed up.
Edit: I see what happened there. You removed TightVNC server and installed RealVNC server last month.
Can we assume that it's X-Window :1 and that the standard port 5901 was used? And what's the password? Really, this isn't right at all. Too many hidden settings.
@haiqu The first created x-windows is currently :0. Either try port 5900 or [yourraspiname]:0
X-Window :0 was correct but it wants a password. Neither pi
nor raspberry
work and I have no idea how to proceed from here.
OK, finally got it. VNC was trying to log me in as Rob
. When I changed it to pi
and password raspberry
I was in like Flynn. Confusing indeed.
I preferred the other VNC server, at least you could set it to full screen.
