Hidden files with the extension of .faa

Hi,

This is just a comment about the Orthofinder. I accidentally created a hidden file with faa extension: e.g., .faa. Running orthofinder with a folder containing the hidden file gave the following error message.

ERROR: .faa appears to contain nucleotide sequences instead of amino acid sequences. ERROR: An error occurred, please review error messages for more information.

Logically, that is a valid error message. But, could you exclude hidden files in the orthofinder analysis, please?
