feature suggestion - long pi

When manually writing sitelen pona there's the ability to stretch out pi under multiple characters as a nice kind of grouping feature, I've seen people use this in the wild, and occasionally done it myself:

e.g.

"jan lili li lon insa pi mama meli"

or

"tomo sin pi jan utala lili li pona mute."

Structurally it seems like a feature that analagous to how cartouches work, but otoh fonts are mostly a mystery to me...
