Don't apologize. That feature is fairly well hidden. The copy/paste issue indicates that gnome-gmail is crashing. Run e.g. 'gnome-gmail mailto:[email protected]' from the command line and post the output here.

I intend to start the process of removing the package from Debian unstable in January, if no progress on the Python 3 migration and API error is made by then.
