Connection failed
Hi. Me as a newbie tried to integrate my Visonic Powermaster 30 in Homeassisant but it fails to make a connection. Even after reading the threads i don't get it to work. Maybe it is because my english isn't the best if it has to do with informatics. Can anyone help me? Thanx
First thing you should do is describe how you tried to connect to it. Did you use an ESP device? The power link module is not supported, if that’s what’s you are trying to use.
second thing- is to attach logs.
Failed to connect into Visonic Alarm Panel 0. Check Your Network and the Configuration Settings. This is what i get written but i can't find any logs, I can add the card to see if the version is up to date but no button card
You are not answering all of my questions which will make it hard to help you.
first- how is your alarm panel connected to the network? Or to the home assistant machine? This is critical information.

I'm really sorry. I'm really not good at this stuff yet. The alarm is connected via Ethernet cable to my fritzbox. The Visonic-App is functional. So i suppose there's no problem with the connection.

So it seems you have the powerlink module, which is not how this integration works. You will have to replace the module with something else as depicted in the wiki.
