Excite truck crashes with emu nand on sd card
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try and start Excite Truck with no save on wii or EMU Nand
2. Black screen
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Game start, but the wii goes black screen and needs a hard reset
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
d2x r41 Base 56, gx loader 1150
Please provide any additional information below.
Even extracting the game save to EMU nand and trying again resulted in a black
screen, turn off emu nand and the game works correctly. On d2x v7 final
extracting the save results in the game working correctly

U-Draw Studio instant artist, with nand emu on resets the loader, with nand emu
off it works as normal, extract the save and it still resets the loader (with
this game the disc drive makes a noise as it is resetting the loader)

About Excite Truck, you got the emu nand on your sd card, right?
Try using emu nand on your usb device, I got it working this way.
In fact the game tries to open /dev/sdio/slot0, i.e. the sd card, but to avoid
conflicts this opening request is blocked by the cios during nand emu on sd
card.
That's why nand emulation over usb is always preferrable.
Also, do I need the tablet controller to reproduce your issue with udraw?

Yes my NAND is on the sd card, will transfer it over tonight and try again. On
u draw, the game fails before any warning screens, if you have no tablet you
should still see the nintendo warning screen and then the please add the tablet
screen. So to see the issue you do not need to own a tablet. Will also retest
this game later. Thanks

ok let me know.
Anyways it's my opinion that the excite truck issue is a game bug due to weak
error management I guess. In fact there are many other games trying to access
sd card on launch and they work properly with emu nand over sd card.
Also, if udraw doesn't work with usb emu nand then open a new issue for this
game.
