Output needs to be different for Xmonad and Dzen.

Can you give more information on what type of colored output do you want for Dzen? For Xmonad, the Xmobar template options already allows for color outputs.

I mean different colors. For example: The bar is yellow while doing a Pomodoro, red during the last five minutes and blue during break time.
