Merced cell + data validation on upload

First of all, is there a way to make portal display data from merged cell? The data with merged cell uploads fine but while trying to view the data I get below error. screen shot 2017-12-26 at 9 45 00 am

Second, once the data is uploaded with merged cell, I am not able to delete the datasets I get 404, (other dataset I can preview/view has no issue deleting)

  • [x] Is there a way we can make the merged cell data be viewable?

  • [ ] Can the data validation be added on to prevent these issues?

After some poking around, the resource view error is not due to merged cells rather having a multiple sheet in xslx files, merged cells datafile can be viewed but merged cells are either ignored or pulled as a column header.
