Reproducing Websites in FlowerShow to show what can be done and for promotion

One idea for FlowerShow is to do some demo reproductions of other websites in FlowerShow e.g.

  • a Notion-based published website reproduced in FlowerShow,
  • a Docs website

For example, I was just looking at obsidiancopilot.com, and it's quite an elegant, simple landing page plus docs website. Showing that you can reproduce that in Flowershow would be pretty cool.

✅ Benefits of this Approach

  • Credibility through comparison: Demonstrates that FlowerShow can stand alongside popular tools.
  • Clarity of value: People can see what FlowerShow can do with a familiar reference point.
  • Low effort marketing: These “recreations” can become blog posts, tweets, demo videos.
  • Improves product: Rebuilding others' sites reveals gaps, friction points, or missing features.

💡 Specific Site Candidates

Site Why It's a Good Target
obsidiancopilot.com Simple, clean landing page. Markdown-compatible. Resonates with Obsidian users.
Notion.so product pages Common use-case for FlowerShow (Notion migration).
Docusaurus docs sites Technical audiences, direct competitor. FlowerShow is lighter.

🛠 How to Use These Reproductions

  1. Demo section on FlowerShow site: “Built with FlowerShow” gallery.
  2. Blog post series:
    • “We rebuilt Obsidian Copilot’s website in FlowerShow in 30 minutes.”
    • “How to migrate from Notion Publish to FlowerShow.”
  3. Tutorials / templates:
    • Offer the reproduction as a template for users.
    • Guide: “How to recreate your Notion site in FlowerShow.”
