Unable to view stream from Digital Ocean Droplet
Subject of the issue I am using a beelink ser5 with ubuntu and OBS to stream via RTMP a local ip camera at 1280x720, 10fps to a Digital Ocean Droplet with restreamer installed. Restreamer successfully receives the stream and I can see it in the preview window. According to restreamer, the cpu is somewhere around 1-4% and no frames are being dropped. I can see the image moving and everything seems perfect.
At this point, I take the .m3u8 playlist link and I am not able to view anything. I tried it directly in safari, VLC and even ([https://livepush.io/hls-player/index.html]) but it just says error. Despite the error, under the publications window I can see someone is trying to watch it (1 viewer) but the upload kbit/s is very low, like 2 or 3 kbit/s. I have tried to remove and re-add the RTMP source but same problem.
I can provide logs or whatever is required. Would really appreciate some support, or suggestion for a better way to do this. In my limited experience, I feel like everything is working up until the point where restreamer needs to push the feed to the viewer - this is the part that is not working.
FYI, this will ultimately be used for a webcam hosted at the beach, looking at the waves. It will be for surfers to check the conditions from home.
Appreciate the help,
Thanks, Sean.
The UI can display the stream, so this seems to work. In the UI video.js is used as player. Please check if the address to the .m3u8 is correct.
