Stream video file on server to web-ui clients?

Subject of the issue How can I load a video file to stream?

Your environment Docker, Linux, AMD64, Ubuntu 22.04

Basic question but can't seem to find a direct answer. I understand Restreamer is for, well. Re streaming video content and not video files which was mentioned in a post in 2020 but is it possible to play video files now in 2024?

If so how do I do it?

Currently the focus is on restreaming live content. What you can do with the UI is looping a video file that you upload.
