OBS doesn't connect with Restreamer
Hello, i finally got managed to set the raspberry for restreamer.
i can navigate to the xxxx:8080/ui Now i checked the videos how to setup OBS with Restreamer.
so my steps: Restreamer -> RMTP Server -> copy adress -> Go to OBS Settings -> Stream -> Server my RMTP copied link , Source = Custom ,Key empty or the one with =secret both doesnt work -> Save
Now like in the Video i click start streaming, and OBS does not connect with the RMTP Server ? im getting:Failed to connect to server. The connection timed out.Make sure you've configured a valid streaming service and no firewall is blocking the connection.
Checked Firewall and OBS has permissions.
I dont know where my mistake is.
Hope someone can help me :) best regards
Same Issue, perhaps broke in the lastest version?
Running arm64v8 (rpi-latest)
Okay.. Fixed it parially by leaving the streaming key empty. Isn't optimal, but works.
You have to paste the whole RTMP URL to OBS and leave "streaming key" empty. The streaming key is already part of the URL you copied from Restreamer.
You have to make sure that you actually defined a streaming key, resp. token in the Restreamer RTMP settings
When copying and pasting the RTMP URL, you should make sure that it contains the correct IP or hostname. Restreamer will either use the defined domain or your public IP address. If you want to connect from your local network, you have to replace it with the correct local IP of the box where Restreamer is running on.

This doesn't work, and I can't find any reason why it doesn't work. I've tried numerous combinations, including what's provided in the tutorial here, which by the way is not at all what Restreamer itself says to do. Nothing seems to work.
I'm straight up getting "Failed to connect to server" in OBS. Nothing else. Thought maybe a firewall issue, so I turned off all firewalls from the OBS PC and my Linux machine and it still doesn't work.
Perhaps either this feature is broken in Restreamer, OR OBS is broken.

Same here, still does not work :(
Can you post a screenshot of your OBS "Streaming" and "Output" settings?
I have the same problem, found a solution?
