Cheat Sheet Posters
Hi all. For our pilot of the image processing carpentry, I drew some cheat sheet info on our white boards, which I could periodically refer to when explaining concepts. Participants found them pretty useful, so I am thinking of making them into some posters to print and display. Would you be interested if I shared the files, and do you have any comments about additional info which should go on them?
😍
These would be very helpful indeed, both for the lesson and for people getting to grips with image processing concepts more generally. I'd be delighted to review a pull request adding them to the repository. Other lesson repositories have a files/
directory, and I think it would make sense to add these in an equivalent folder here, and to link to the files from a callout box at the most relevant points throughout the lesson.
I am keen to hear more about your experience teaching the curriculum in a pilot workshop, @shaw2thefloor. If you have time for a short call with me to discuss it, please could you drop me an email on tobyhodges at carpentries dot org?
related to #212 .
@shaw2thefloor FYI if you are still planning to submit a PR to add these posters to the repository, please hold off from making a PR until after the infrastructure transition has taken place later this month.
looping back to confirm that the lesson infrastructure transition has been completed now, and I would still love to see a PR come in to add these posters.
Hi Toby. Very sorry, I’ve had no time, you how it is. I will try to get round to it at some point.
