plugins tries to fetch spark-core 1.4.0 for 2.12

when trying to cross-compile for 2.12 a spark package against spark 2.4.0, I am getting

I think this project is not actively maintained anymore 😢 Even the PR for updating SBT to 1.0 doesn't get merged...
