choo render spams the log.

Open pmario opened this issue 8 years ago • 7 comments

Hi folks,

I'm new here. .... but on windows choo seems to spam the log with render data.

23:10:23 ⚠️ choo render 50fps 12ms

Is there a way to switch this off?

Does it log that a lot? That's also the case on other platforms.

@yoshuawuyts we might want to turn this on only in development though?

juliangruber avatar Nov 26 '17 10:11 juliangruber

it seems to log every second. on ubuntu, it only logs if something is going on ...

I did set the environment variable to development

the program is completely unusable on windows and ubuntu for me. So I did activate dev mode. ...

There would be some interesting logs, but I can't investigate them, because of the rendering stuff.

I think there are some initialization problems if you run the program the first time on a new system. I do get some logs that imo should show dat-infos, but they only show undefined

That's what I get at startup on windows.

11:30:20 ? choo DOMContentLoaded undefined .............. D:\git\dat-desktop\node_modules\nanologger\index.js:130
11:30:21 ? choo dats:loaded undefined

It should definitely work in Ubuntu, can you open an issue with your findings?

Just tested it on windows 10 with latest master. ... Still have the problem. ... Still trying to find a way to reliably reproduce it :/
