unsaved changes - was markdown widget, do not follow hyperlinks when in edit mode

The issue affects the following areas:

any edits in the layout editor are lost if the user navigates to a page outside of the app (navigations within the app are ok as you can still save the changes)
any edits on a json schema form (query, etl., etc.) are lost if any link is followed
