Show/Hide grid axes in Display
Feedback from Leo C. "Can we have an option to hide the grid? Perhaps its only me but I find mine lines on the screen more complex to look at? "
Just to be clear - Leo means the lines indicated here:

Those two lines shouldn't really be called a grid. I think they should be called the axes, plural of axis. My first thought was that removing the axes would make the location of the origin impossible to see. The user needs to see the origin because the zoom box that is across the origin is the one that determines the working text aka message. However, it then occurred to me that there's always a red line from the origin to the pointer location, so the origin can be known by that. Maybe we should leave a smaller cross at the origin end of the pointer line, if the axes are removed?
Sure. Axes is correct.
I think a smaller cross at the origin end of the pointer makes sense - but do have this as an option. I get that when you use this direct with your finger you dont really need the cursor end at all. The red line should suffice..
But as with everything options are going to be key.
