Not working on CMP100-210 card nor unlock x16 mode on pcie
Not detected by the driver, please add support. Also no luck adding capacitors near PCIE slot and this does not unlock x16 mode. Any suggestions on how to enable x16 and full tensor core speed on the card?
As far as I know, you can install a TITAN or Tesla driver on CMP100-200/210 Just install the official driver manually via Device Manager by selecting the appropriate TITAN (TITAN V) or Tesla (Tesla V100) model https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/nvidia-cmp-100-210-or-100hx-gv100-gpu.321074/
There is no restriction on switching TITAN/Tesla from TCC to WDDM mode so you do not need a patched driver https://www.leadergpu.com/articles/505-switch-gpu-modes-in-windows#TCC_to_WDDM
Thank you. Will give it a shot. Any idea of why x16 mode is not enabled even if all capacitors near x16 slot are soldered?
And if its in WDDM mode it gives error 43 upon restart of the system
You're missing 4 capacitors on the pci e line.
I already soldered them in place. Still x1 mode and no WDDM support. Error 43 when trying to enable WDDM or delete AdapterType entry from registry.
There was an old thread on a different forum talking about this. The pcie lane on this card is hard locked by a specific firmware on the card. No one figured a way to unlock it yet.
As for the driver, you want to use RainCandy's driver. A lot of people doesn't seem to use this gpu more than once after they restart their pc, as it always have that specific error code 43 you mentioned upon a restart using normal or google cloud driver.
sorry for interupting, does soldering also work for cmp 70hx and p104-100 ? Thank you very much.
