cannot find the configuration files

Hello

Thank you for the guide.

I tired to follow your solution on Xubuntu 17.04 without luck, I can't seem to get UHD to find my device in that version . so what I did is change to Xubuntu 16.04 and Ubuntu 16.04 and I did manage to get UHD to work. and after changing the osmo-nitb to the right version (16.04 instead of 17.04) I managed to install that as well. however I couldn't compline the osmo-trx from source, so I installed in from apt-get (not sure if this is correct or not). anyhow, I can't find the configuration files now, the (openbsc.cfg and osmo-bts-trx.cfg) do not show up when using find to see them.

can you provide an insight on the topic ?

Thanks and regards

I think this is my mistake, the configuration file does not exist and I need to create it.

however I have another issue, running the osmo-trx gives the following error

bahaeddin@ubuntu:~$ osmo-trx osmo-trx: symbol lookup error: osmo-trx: undefined symbol: _ZN3uhd3msg16register_handlerERKPFvNS0_6type_tERKNSt7__cxx1112basic_stringIcSt11char_traitsIcESaIcEEEE

no idea what that means !?

I have issues compiling from source as well on 16.04 on uhd. Although i was able to install apt install osmo-trx.
