Option for compiling scss, when compiling project

I saw that you are currently rebuilding all root scss files when a partial file is saved. Can this be extended to happen when the project is compiled? Or could a menu action be added to compile them all? We keep our scss files in version control but not the compiled css files. So when we merge, it would be nice if the css files got updated.
