[FR] Create new folder command

Open AwePhD opened this issue 8 months ago • 2 comments

Hello,

First thanks for the plugin. I daily have been using this version of the quick switcher on a daily basis since 2 years, it's great.

In the last update Obsidian made a command to create a folder, which is handy in principle. But when I issue the command, it creates one on my root directory. I would like to know if you plan to create a command to create a folder but with a fuzzy search on the parent folder of the new folder.

To illustrate it here an illustration of subfolders in my root obsidian folder.

root
├── A
│   ├── a
│   └── b
├── B
│   └── c
└── C

When I issue the command "Create a new folder" it would prompt me where to put this new folder. If I enter "Bc", for instance, it would select the subfolder c in B directory. Then, it would show my explorer in the left side bar, as the vanilla command, and I would be able to rename the folder directly.

Thanks for your time and your work for this useful plug-in.
