Hi. Is there any way manually update thumbnail for desired tile?

Any word on this?

First, you have to be viewing the site associated with the tile in the current tab. Then you can click the New Tab Tools icon in the toolbar then click "Capture Thumbnail". Alternatively, you can right-click the tile, select "Edit this tile", then under "Saved image", remove any existing image then click the Save current thumbnail button. Rather than capturing a thumbnail of the page, you can also use any image from your computer via "Edit this tile" > Browse.

@denishowe Hi. Thank you, but "First, you have to be viewing the site associated with the tile in the current tab. Then you can click the New Tab Tools icon in the toolbar then click "Capture Thumbnail"." doesn't work with pinned tiles.

i can confirm that "caputre thumbnail" doesn't work (anymore?) - i've somehow lost all thumbnails it NTT won't create new ones, neither automatically nor via toolbar :/

I just captured one OK. W7, FF 79, NTT 90.3.

Having said that, NTT's database is very flaky. Best to take a backup when you've got things the way you like them and be prepared to restore it at any time. Also useful for making up for the lack of sync between browser instances.

does anyone know how to reset NTT? I can't seem to find out where it stores it's data O_o

I would think removing the extension then restarting and reloading would reset it. Just removing it should. Web Extension and all.

just removing and reinstalling didn't - but removing, restarting FF and then reinstalling did. And after that, i can again capture thumbnails!

When you guys are removing the add-on does it remember all of your settings or are you back to a blank slate?

Blank slate. Thats a function of Web Extensions. But if you export your dials you can just import them if you like.

Thanks for keying me in on the Backup/Restore feature built into the add-on's interface, assuming that's what you mean by export/import :)
