Add a licence
This project currently does not have a licence and I would like to ask/suggest you choose and add one.
You're under no obligation to choose a license. However, without a license, the default copyright laws apply, meaning that you retain all rights to your source code and no one may reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from your work. If you're creating an open source project, we strongly encourage you to include an open source license. The Open Source Guide provides additional guidance on choosing the correct license for your project.
(from GitHub's licencing docs)
Without a licence, the legal status of this project is unclear to other devs like myself. Adding a license would clarify how we can interact with this project and ensure it’s legally safe to contribute or tinker/build upon it.
If you find software that doesn’t have a license, that generally means you have no permission from the creators of the software to use, modify, or share the software.
(from ChooseALicense.com)
If you don’t care that much and just want to shrug this off, I’d suggest MIT licence (simple & permissive, allows almost anything with your code as long as they give credit); otherwise ChooseALicense.com can help you.
Thank you and best regards, – onegen.
