No images displayed when opening darktable into zoomable layout

Describe the bug

If you open darktable and it loads into the zoomable lighttable view, no images are displayed. Switching to another view and back to the zoomable view fixes it to correctly display images.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open darktable in lighttable view
2. Switch to the zoomable view
3. Exit darktable
4. Open darktable in lighttable view
5. darktable should load into the zoomable view and not show any images

Expected behavior

Images should be displayed when first loading into the zoomable view
