Darktable
Is there an existing issue for this?
- [x] I checked and did not find my issue in the already reported ones
Describe the bug
I have been using Darktable on Windows10 for a while. I now have moved on to Linux Mint. Darktable works fine and a lot quicker. But the .xml files don't seem to be compatible. I get some black or white thumbnails in Darktable, and Darkroom wont display anything, most of the time. Sometimes some random pixels. Deleting all the .xml files from the folder and re-importing it fixes the problem. It's not a real big deal for me, but you should know. All images I wanted have been exported.
Latest versions of Darktable on both Windows and Linux. Using Canon .cr2 raw images.
Much quicker on Linux on the same PC!
Steps to reproduce
As said before, it is using .xml files created in Windows10 in Linux Mint that does not work

usually they are, are you really sure you use identical versions of dt on both systems ? What about the database(s) and cache. Did you transfer these files/folders from Windows to Linux ?
