Ability to sort collections by file extension

It would be a really helpful feature for me if I could sort a collection by file extension type. There is a drop down list with various sort options which lacks file extension as one of them. I want to see all my Jpegs as a group and all the tiff files as another group and the various RAW file extensions grouped as well. I presume this would not be difficult to do as there are already various options such as capture time, import time, rating etc. I appreciate all the effort the developers put in and hope they see this request is worthy of their time. I believe it will further add to the DAM capabilities of DT. If the developers feel it is too difficult or not worth there time I can understand that and really appreciate the work they voluntarily put into developing DT. Thanks, Terry
