Background - "fit to area" option

Feature Description

Would it be possible to have option for a theme or with thememodifier to have backgrounds "fit to area" option. Because right now no matter what image resolution or aspect ratio I set I can't see full image as it cuts off the image at random areas. So I would rather have "fit to area" of background panel zones option with black bars (if aspect ratio doesn't match" and see full background Image I have set rather than cut off images. ?

This preview Image I didn't resize. Didn't bother. As resized images didn't change anything. Tried 1920x620 / 920 x 430 / tried measuring pixel size of my background zone area / trying playing with thememodifier vertical and horizontal background aligment options
