This issue was already reported [here](https://github.com/SourMesen/Mesen/issues/278) and [here](https://github.com/SourMesen/Mesen/issues/570) and it was never fixed since. On GNU/Linux with a 4K display, the application does not scale correctly  .

EDIT: I just found a solution: instead of QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland I need to set QT_QPA_PLATFORM=**wayland-egl**. Perhaps a disclaimer in a FAQ or something could help someone else with the same issue....
