Describe the feature

The coming v1.8 documentation release for AWS components would have better explanation about the correct usage of credentials versus IAM policies and roles. This issues suggests adding a higher level of log verbosity to all authentication operations done by the AWS component. This might assist users to better understand what went wrong in case they didn't follow correctly through the new documentation
