Editing part of url creates multiple links

Editing a linkified url in the following way creates multiple links:

1. Lets say we have the following url linkified: www.google.com
2. Then, with back space delete part of it, i.e.: www.
3. Start typing another url, www.youtube.com

Instead of editing the exiting link, creates multiple links:

• www. links to google
• youtube.com links to youtube
