Error installing on Android related to Gradle version

Hello, when I try to install the plugin on Android I receive the error:

Minimum supported Gradle version is 3.3. Current version is 2.14.1. If using the gradle wrapper, try editing the distributionUrl...

What's weird is that my app is already set to use Gradle 3.3, but when I try to install the plugin it changes the distributionUrl in my gradle-wrapper.properties file to 2.14.1, where it was 3.3 before.

Any idea what's going on here or how to resolve?
