Ability to remove vjoy warning?

Open Deiterbomber opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

I'm aiming to use the joysticks as ship controls via other controller emulation and other controls for the throttle/etc -- Is it possible to remove the vjoy warning since I will not require it for the majority of the 'virtual buttons'? (I had to find an alternate solution without vjoy because it causes issues with other games I run.)

I'm not really working on support for hybrid controls till full VR controls have all the basic functionality.

I'm not sure about getting rid of the vJoy warning. Lots of spots kind of assume vJoy is available. And the throttle/joystick aren't the only axis. The sensor axis and FSS tuning are also vJoy axis.

That's fair. If you didn't want it to be something for the average user to just toggle off, you could hide it in something akin to an .ini file or similar. I know I'm a pretty specific case, so I certainly don't expect it to be a priority. I appreciate the response, though.

Seconding this request. Please, just an option to turn off the warning would be lovely. Of course it makes sense to pop up that warning the first time!

...unless this isn't compatible with HOTAS, in which case it's not usable for me :(
