Brand Name Ingredients

Are brand name ingredients allowed within a recipe? Or is everything to be "from scratch"? An example would be a brand specific taco shell combined with other regular items to make a full taco.

I'd suggest adding the "real" name of the product as well, ie the non-brand name so people from countries where that brand doesn't exist know what they could buy as replacement

(no idea if they're allowed or not, but why shouldn't they?)
