@acamacho-unige what you did to solve the issue is definitely not necessary. I will attempt to solve this issue in the next patch update.
This issue should be fixed in SEB 3.4.1 for macOS.
I don't have time to look into this right now. But I would strongly recommend to update to a newer macOS version. Big Sur macOS 11 has many bad bugs...
Best is always to stick to Apple's recommendation to use one of the three latest macOS versions, because those are still getting security updates. So that would be currently macOS...

This should be fixed in current SEB versions (3.5.1 and newer).
This is a known issue and will be fixed in SEB 3.4. You can exit SEB using the key shortcut cmd - Q when this issue happens.
