We updated credential refresh logic in v1.9.1 and I assume it resolved the issue. Please let us know if you are still blocked by the issue, and we could reopen.

Hey folks, sorry about the delay. We're working on this (draft changes already here: https://github.com/awslabs/mountpoint-s3/pull/1398) and will share more updates soon.

This issue should be addressed in [Mountpoint v1.17.0](https://github.com/awslabs/mountpoint-s3/releases/tag/mountpoint-s3-1.17.0) released today, please let us know if you continue to have any issue. Thank you for your patience!
