Work for local uploads
Croptool works for files uploaded in Commons, but it would also be very helpful if it works also for locally uploaded files, like locally uploaded books in different Wikisource projects, for example, this book in Bengali Wikisource.
It sort-of does already; You can paste https://bn.wikisource.org/wiki/চিত্র:বাঙ্গালার_ইতিহাস_(রাখালদাস_বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়)_দ্বিতীয়_খন্ড.djvu into https://tools.wmflabs.org/croptool/ and it should work. But some modifications to https://bn.wikisource.org/wiki/মিডিয়াউইকি:Gadget-CropTool.js is needed to make the link work.
