Video support

Feature request: Video support.

  1. Scrub to a specific time, crop the on-screen content. (Dear God, this would save so many license verification headaches.) or
  2. Scrub to two specific times, trim length. (Segment of video)
  3. Potential: create animation (webm/GIF) between two specific times
  4. Remove multiple sections of a video (e.g., to remove copyrighted content/frames without reuploading the whole thing)

Thanks for your work on croptool—use it all the time

Video, oh my 😲 Hm, well, I guess ffmpeg can do most of the hard work, but it's still probably not going to be something I will prioritize to work with myself, but I’ll leave the issue open in case someone else would like to work on it (or in case I loose my job or something :))

Just a note that while trimming the length of the video do not require re-encoding, cropping does, so you might need a more customized backend than tool labs (note that tool labs mainly uses trusty, which have libav, instead of ffmpeg). Also, videos tend to be large. Some videos (100MB+) may need chunked uploading to work, even larger ones (1GB+) might require async chunked uploading.
