No parallel use in browser tabs

I normally open several images from category https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Images_with_borders in tab (Chrome on Windows 10). I have observed, that only one image is processed at once. I.e. when starting the magic border locator, I can't start several processes.

Is parallel processing possible in other browsers? Can the tool be modified to provide this feature?
