Device not responding to status request

Open barrtailor opened this issue 5 years ago • 2 comments

When I attempt to add my Tasmota flashed (8.3.1) NodeMCU to Tasmobackup I'm getting the following response: Device not responding to status request. I reviewed the console and it looks like the NodeMCU is rebooting when being queried by TasmoBackup.

I'm getting the same when I request an add to a Tuya Dimmer flashed with 8.4.0.

Restarts Tasmota device and times out. TasmoBackup version is 1.03.20 running as a Home Assistant add-on

I'm not sure what could be the issue here. I added a delay so there would be a pause before each status request in 1.03.20 So since the issue is still happening, I don't think there is anything I can do to resolve it, as it's just a single request.

I don't have any devices doing this, using versions of tasmota from 7.1 to 8.4
