Whole Day Sessions?

I've been trying to set up this so that there are "whole day" sessions (we're using it to allow students to manually "check-in" at some point during the day).

But if I set it to 0000-0000 in terms of the start and end, then no "Submit Attendance" link appears on the page (presumably it thinks the duration is 0-length).

The best I seem to be able to get to is 0000 - 2355, which leaves a 5 minute gap where it can't be taken.

I'm guessing that this is mostly down to the UI constraining the values that can be specified to 5 minute intervals (?). So presumably a tick box or other control could be added to effectively set the timestamps to 00:00:00 to 23:59:59? (or something that allows finer granularity of the time window).
