There are a lot of wordpress based podcasts. Wordpress does offer an API to comment a post.

Have you considered including this kind of feature into the podcast client? Podcast usually do not get a lot of feedback, because people still have to go to the website to comment.

I know this feature depends on the podcast hosting software which is unfortunate.
