This suggests it's not the log buffer that is broken- each game gets a new one. Perhaps the CSS? If you can repro, perhaps you can provide a screen shot...

Could you set ``DISPLAY`` in the Lutris game, runner or global options (that's in Preferences)? Would that get the games to work in XWayland when Lutris does not? The environment...

Does this mean those distros are shipping PyGObject > 3.5, but not it's updated dependency? Aren't those distros broken, or do I not understand this?

You seem to know what's being shipped, but it sounds like whatever it is, it is broken, and this is a workaround. But it seems strange to ship PyGObject 3.5...

Looks like a dupe of #5990; we've got a fix for this error in master. [You can download the master here](https://github.com/lutris/lutris); run the script ``bin/lutris`` inside- no need to install....
