Hi,

I converted a 1080p MKV (AC3) file using the Sony Playstation 3 device profile and Normal preset. However, the resulting file (MP4) is not listed by the PS3 when browsing the directories over the network (using ushare). Other movies in other directories work fine (mostly AVIs), so the network browsing and playing is ok. I've tried taking the spaces out of the file name and changing its file extension to MPG or AVI, but no joy.

Not really sure how to diagnose the problem, but I'm happy to try things out with guidance.

I am having the same problem. On the PS3 and on the PSP.

It was fine when I was using Ubuntu 10.4 32bit, but now I am using Ubuntu 10.10 64bit, and the videos always comes up a "unsupported format" on the PSP, and won't show up at all on the PS3.

I've converted several different formats, avi, mov, wmv, all with the same result.

The problem is the same in both version 0.9.5, and the latest, 0.9.6.

Can someone get me an example of a working file on the PS3?
