I would like to see this feature happen in a future release :)

@danielgtaylor is there anything we can do to facilitate to get this into sprout? Would be defenitely needed here aswell

@Perni1984 , I know this is far from ideal, but if you need to, at least, test this feature, you can do so with my docker build here for the branch that this request pulls from.

I am not sure I implemented the OpenAPI externalValue field the proper way.

@pierredavidbelanger works like a charm for our use case - thanks a lot. Anyway I would prefer to be able to use the "official" package, so is there any chance this is getting merged @danielgtaylor or can we do something to facilitate this?
