Win10 mode doesn't render

Open ShamaIow opened this issue 5 months ago • 2 comments

The window mode do render correctly the shader but once I use win10 mode to render as desktop background image it "wipe" my desktop, unable to left or right click for context menu and without changing the background.

Everything come back to normal after the python end.

Latest Win11 24h2 stable (26100.4652)

Yes that is currently a problem on Windows 11 since they changed how the desktop works. On windows 10 this program creates a window and set itself in between the background "window" and the desktop icon "window". The same technic does not seam to work anymore. Need to investigate if there is a work around / how wallpaper engine does it.

Alright, i didn't know how good you was gonna answer since it's unsupported on Win11 but Shadow seem to be the only one functional doing that so i hope you will find a work around.
