[feature] filter per column

I would like to be able to filter the table by column in a similar way than excel table work : a drop down with checkbox for every different element in the column where you see in the table only checked element.

is there a way to acheive this?

does this work for you? You'll have to do the gui work yourself, but you can already have multiple fields in the filter. https://github.com/daniel-nagy/md-data-table/issues/459#issuecomment-286431302

I did not try anything since last year. the project where I needed it ended without the feature­.
