I have to use landscape view to stop casting.

Android 6.0.1 DSub 5.3.3 Nexus 4

I can confirm this. Happening on my Sony Z3 Compact as well. Specs: Size 4.6" 720 x 1280 pixels (~319 ppi pixel density)

Seeing this issue on both Google Pixel 6 Pro and Google Pixel 4 XL, landscape does work.
