Music stops playing - Samsung Galaxy s10, Android 11

After the recent update to android 11 I have the following problem where music will stop playing, this occurs when connected to speakers via bluetooth or just using plug in headphones.

This happens about 30 seconds into a song.

On the playing now screen, the music control icons show the pause icon but the time spent playing counter is not incrementing. ie it does not think that the stop button has been pressed, it's like it is trying to play, but cannot read the source file.

Using other music apps on the device can play the files successfully.

Reinstalling DSub resolved this issue for me.
