Streamlit for multiple-camera view

Open YitingChang opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

I couldn't find the multi-view models when I launched Streamlit. I think it only looks for the models containing "predictions.csv" but the multi-view models have "predictions_VIEWNAME.csv".

thanks for the heads up, I'm actually working on the multi-view unsupervised losses now, so I'll check this out once I wrap that up (probably not until next week though!)

That's great! I'm looking forward to the multi-view unsupervised losses.

Hi @YitingChang! Not sure if you're still out there, but I wanted to give you a (long-overdue) update on this. We've been hard at work totally redesigning Lightning Pose to better work with multi-camera data.

This preprint describes the architectural updates we've made: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2510.09903

And we're also almost done with a completely redesigned app specifically focused on multi-camera data: https://github.com/paninski-lab/lightning-pose-app. We're moving more of the visualization over to the app, so I'm removing these features from the base lightning-pose package for now.

The app is still in beta-testing mode, but should be ready to go by the new year. If you're still working on multi-view pose estimation and want to know more please tell me!

@themattinthehatt Thank you for the updates and congratulations on the preprint!

Yes, I’m still working on multi-view pose estimation and would be delighted to learn more about it.

I’ll give the new architecture a try after the New Year!
