This is caused by the same deficiency as effects 4,4'-Dimethoxytriphenylmethyl chloride. OPSIN currently performs locanted substitution before unlocanted substitution which causes issues on multiplied unlocanted substituents (e.g. 4-Methoxy-1,1,1-triphenylmethyl chloride works). I'm currently thinking of resolving this by using the fact that OPSIN can now detect ambiguity so that it performs unambiguous unlocanted substitution in the same phase as locanted substitution.
